About Sacred Renewal

Sacred Renewal is an invitation to come home to yourself.

At the heart of this work is a simple question: What becomes possible when you are more fully present in your own body, your own life, and your own experience?

We live in a world that gives us countless reasons to disconnect from ourselves. We learn to override what our bodies are telling us, to quiet our needs, to adapt to expectations, and to keep moving even when something within us is asking us to slow down. Over time, those patterns can shape how we relate to our bodies, our emotions, our relationships, our boundaries, and even our capacity for joy and connection.

Sacred Renewal creates space to explore a different way of being.

Through mindfulness, embodiment, breath, movement, reflection, and compassionate guidance, this work invites you to listen more deeply to yourself—to notice what your body and inner life may be communicating, reconnect with what you've learned to silence, and cultivate greater presence, self-trust, peace, joy, and aliveness.

There is no prescribed path and no version of yourself you are meant to become. The invitation is to reconnect with who you are, make room for what is asking to emerge, and discover what becomes possible from there.

A deeper relationship with yourself

Sacred Renewal is about more than learning practices for managing stress or creating moments of calm.

It is an invitation to become more deeply connected to yourself—to your body, your inner world, your needs, your boundaries, your desires, and the parts of you that may have been quieted or set aside along the way.

Through embodied practices and thoughtful guidance, we make space for greater presence, self-trust, peace, joy, connection, and aliveness.

You don't have to become someone else. You get to discover what it feels like to be more fully yourself.

The Philosophy

I believe we are more than the roles we fill, the expectations we carry, and the stories we've learned about who we are supposed to be.

I believe the body is not something we need to control, overcome, or perfect. It is part of how we know ourselves and experience the world.

I believe that when we slow down enough to listen—to the body, to our emotions, to our needs, to our inner knowing—we can begin to recognize what has been asking for our attention all along.

And I believe meaningful change doesn't always come from trying harder. Sometimes it begins with becoming present enough to notice what is already here.

Sacred Renewal is rooted in the possibility that we can develop a different relationship with ourselves: one grounded in compassion rather than judgment, curiosity rather than criticism, and connection rather than disconnection.

You are not a problem to be solved. You are a person to be known.

The Approach

My approach is grounded, embodied, and deeply human.

I draw from mindfulness, meditation, yoga, breathwork, somatic practices, reflection, and coaching to create space for you to slow down, become more aware of your experience, and develop a deeper relationship with yourself.

But I don't believe in one-size-fits-all formulas.

Your body has its own language. Your history is your own. What feels supportive, meaningful, or possible will be different for each person.

My role is to listen, notice, ask thoughtful questions, offer practices and perspectives, and walk alongside you as you discover what feels true and useful for you.

Sometimes the work may be quiet and contemplative. Sometimes it may involve movement or breath. Sometimes it may be about a relationship, a boundary, a pattern, a body sensation, a grief that needs tending, or something you can't quite put into words yet.

There is no formula. There is only the invitation to begin where you are.

Meet Shanna

Hi, I’m Shanna Haight, founder of Sacred Renewal.

I came to this work through my own long and sometimes difficult process of learning how to come back to myself.

For much of my life, I knew how to keep going. I knew how to adapt, accomplish, care for others, and find my way through difficult things. What took much longer was learning how to slow down enough to notice myself—to listen to my body, recognize what I needed, trust my own knowing, and make room for a life that felt not only manageable, but deeply alive.

That journey changed the way I understand transformation. I became less interested in fixing what was wrong and more interested in the relationship we have with ourselves: how we inhabit our bodies, how we listen, how we respond to our own needs, how we create boundaries, how we experience connection and intimacy, and how much room we allow ourselves for joy, pleasure, stillness, and possibility.

My work is informed by years of personal exploration and by training in yoga, meditation, mindfulness coaching, breathwork, somatic practices, and grief tending. I continue to learn because I believe this work asks us to remain curious—not to arrive at a final answer, but to keep deepening our capacity to listen, notice, and be present.

I don't see myself as someone who has figured it all out and can tell you how to do the same. My role is to guide, not to fix. I bring practices, perspective, curiosity, and a willingness to meet you where you are—and I trust that you are the person who ultimately knows what is true for you.

Sacred Renewal grew from that understanding: that coming home to ourselves is not about becoming someone new. It is about creating enough space to hear what has been there all along.
